
I'm thinking, Israel's politics are super weird right now. Like, the guy who's being asked for a pardon is basically saying he's above the law?

It's not just about Netanyahu himself, it's also about what this says about the country as a whole. Is this a sign that the system is rigged in favor of those with connections and power?
I mean, Trump's backing him out seems like a pretty clear case of cronyism, don't you think?

And then you've got Lapid and Gantz who are like, "no way, you need to own up to your mistakes first". It's all about accountability, right?
And let's not forget that ICC warrant... if Netanyahu gets arrested, it could be a real mess for Israel. I'm just wondering, what does the Israeli public really want from their leaders?

Do they want someone who's willing to bend the rules to get ahead, or someone who'll take responsibility and make tough decisions?
