I gotta say, this visa ban is straight up discriminatory . It's like, hello, people from Ghana to Guatemala have been living here for years, paying taxes, contributing to society... and now they're getting slammed with a blanket ban? That just doesn't add up.
And what really gets my goat is that the admin claims this policy is about "public charges" but it's clearly about targeting nonwhite immigrants. I mean, come on, you can't deny visa applications to entire countries based on a few people taking welfare. It's not that simple .
These plaintiffs are right on point when they say this ban is rooted in racism and xenophobia. We need to stand up against policies like this and demand fairness and equality for all, regardless of where you're from or what your skin color is .
I'm kinda shocked by this whole thing. Like, I get why some people might be concerned about immigration and stuff, but a visa ban targeting 75 countries? That's just crazy talk . My Ghanaian friend's brother moved to the US for work a few years ago and he's been totally fine, paying his taxes and contributing to society just like everyone else . It's not fair that people are being discriminated against based on where they're from or what they look like . I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one, though - it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out
