NYC's Village Halloween Parade steps off Friday night: What to know

🌟 I'm so hyped about the Village Halloween Parade this year! The 'It's a Potluck' theme is everything and more 🤩, it's like they're saying that even in a world where we can be divided, we can still come together over something as simple yet beautiful as food. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good potluck? 🍴 It's the perfect way to spread some positivity and kindness.

I'm also loving the fact that City Harvest is being honored as the grand marshal, it's amazing to see organizations like this getting the recognition they deserve. Food rescue is such an important issue and it's awesome to see the parade taking steps towards making a positive impact 🌎

Of course, with any large event comes some risks, but I'm sure the organizers have everything under control 🙏. If you can't make it in person, there are plenty of ways to experience the magic from home, and that's what it's all about - spreading love and joy! 💖

I'm like totally going to the Village Halloween Parade this year but I'm only doing it 'cause my friends are all going. The whole "It's a Potluck" thing sounds kinda cool tho, like, sharing food and stuff. But let's be real, the security is gonna be super tight 'cause of all the crazies out there. I mean, who needs that much money to go on a parade? $125 for a "skip the line entry"? No thanks, I'll just camp out overnight lol.

And omg have you seen those floats they're planning? They're gonna be EPIC! The live stream is gonna be lit too, I might just watch it from home if it's not my thing. But if I do end up going, I'm defo dressing up as a giant pumpkin 🎃️. Don't @ me, it's the best costume idea ever!
