Bronx Man Charged in Connection with Fatal Stabbing Outside Local Bar
A 28-year-old man is facing life-altering charges after allegedly stabbing a woman to death outside a bar in the Bronx. Cristian Moya, of Kingsbridge Terrace, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with Pamela Almonte Cabrera's tragic demise.
According to police reports, the fatal incident occurred on Sunday morning outside Mama Dora Bar and Lounge, where a dispute between Moya and his boyfriend had spilled onto the street. When the situation escalated further, 35-year-old Cabrera attempted to intervene, only to be stabbed multiple times in the chest by Moya with a small knife.
Eyewitnesses described the chaotic scene that unfolded outside the bar, as authorities said Cabrera was taken to BronxCare Health Systems before being transferred to Lincoln Hospital, where she ultimately lost her battle for life. The victim's boyfriend, however, has been let off the hook, with police stating he would not be facing any charges.
Moya was apprehended nearly two days later at 7:30 p.m., and his attorney's information remains unclear. As of now, Moya is waiting to face arraignment, where his fate will be decided in a court of law.

this whole thing just feels so sad... i mean, a stabbing outside a bar? it's like, what's the point? 
i feel bad for pamelas family and friends who are going through this super tough time. and that boyfriend of hers gets to walk away scot-free? it just don't sit right with me. 
at the same time, i do get why cristian moya got so angry - relationships can be complicated and hurtful. but stabbing someone is never the answer... 
life can be tough, but taking someone's life isn't the way to deal with it. 
Can't we just have a peaceful pint at the pub without some drama unfolding? And poor girl Pamela Almonte Cabrera, stabbing her to death over a boyfriend dispute... that's just senseless. 
my heart goes out to the victim's family its crazy how things can escalate like that outside a bar on a sunday morning i dont know what was going through cristan moyas mind when he stabbed her but it sounds like he lost control completely and now hes facing life in prison which is what he deserves 
. The victim's boyfriend gettin' off scot-free is somethin' that really gets under my skin too. It just don't seem right that he wouldn't be held accountable for his part in the drama unfoldin'.
