'Olives are everything for us': West Bank farmers prevented from harvesting by settler violence

omg is this still going on?? 🤯 like what even is the point of having a government if they cant protect ur basic rights lol... i mean im no expert but isnt it obvious that settlers arent gonna stop till they get what they want? & the palestinians r just getting crushed in between. its all about power play rn. & mike huckabee gotta be kiddin me saying its not a winning deal for anyone? like, dude ur on the payroll lol

😕 This is getting so bad, I don't even know how Palestinians are supposed to survive without being able to harvest their own olives. It's like Israel is trying to starve them out or something. 70% of olive groves can't be accessed? That's insane! 🤯 And all because of some settlers and security forces causing trouble? It just doesn't seem right.

I'm sure it's not just about the economic impact either, though that's definitely a big part of it. I mean, those farmers rely on their olives for everything, from food to income. Can you imagine if something like this happened in your own backyard? 😞

The Israeli government's policies are really starting to come under scrutiny now, and I don't blame them one bit. It seems like they're just trying to restrict Palestinian movement and access to resources. But what about the consequences for those people living there? They deserve better than to be treated this way.

It's going to take a lot more than just words from human rights organizations to fix this, though. We need real change on the ground. Until then, it's just devastating to see Palestinians struggling like this. 🌳

This is a classic case of the "boiled frog" problem 🐸😬. You know how people say "don't make them an offer they can't refuse"? Well, it's kinda like that here. The Israeli government is essentially saying to Palestinians, "take this land or leave it". But, just like the old saying goes, you can't make someone who's already struggling, even more desperate. 🤕

The truth is, if the Palestinian economy were to completely collapse, it wouldn't be a victory for Israel, but rather an excuse for them to say "told you so" 😒. The real winners in this situation are the corporations that will get to buy up all those cheap olive oil 💸.

We can all learn from this lesson by recognizing that when we marginalize and exclude others, it's not just about winning or losing, but also about human dignity 🤝. We need to find ways to support each other, especially during times of crisis. Otherwise, we risk creating a situation where everyone loses 🌪️.

🤕 ugh this harvest season thing is soooo messed up 🌿💔 thousands of hectares of land just left untouched because of settler violence & military restrictions? it's like they're not even trying to be human anymore 😩. and the economic impact on the palestinian farmers? devastating 📉 two-thirds of revenue gone just like that 🤑. i mean what's the point of even having a harvest season if you can't even access your land? 🤷‍♀️ and mike huckabee saying it won't be good for anyone if the economy collapses... yeah no kidding 😒. can't we all just get along & have some olives? 🥗💖
