This is a classic case of the "boiled frog" problem 


. You know how people say "don't make them an offer they can't refuse"? Well, it's kinda like that here. The Israeli government is essentially saying to Palestinians, "take this land or leave it". But, just like the old saying goes, you can't make someone who's already struggling, even more desperate. 
The truth is, if the Palestinian economy were to completely collapse, it wouldn't be a victory for Israel, but rather an excuse for them to say "told you so" 

. The real winners in this situation are the corporations that will get to buy up all those cheap olive oil

We can all learn from this lesson by recognizing that when we marginalize and exclude others, it's not just about winning or losing, but also about human dignity 

. We need to find ways to support each other, especially during times of crisis. Otherwise, we risk creating a situation where everyone loses 

.
