Omarion Reflects on Intense Celibacy Experience: ‘Now I Look Back, I Be Like Sheesh’

Omarion Reflects on Three Years of Celibacy: 'Now I Look Back, I Be Like Sheesh'

In a recent interview with Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman on his podcast, Omarion opened up about his three-year experience practicing celibacy as part of a spiritual journey. According to the B2K singer, being celibate was an intense and transformative experience that allowed him to "spiritually search for strength and personal control over myself and my body."

The 15- to 16-year-old Omarion explained that he initially resisted the idea of sex, but ultimately realized it was a natural part of life. He shared: "I did it for three years. Now I look back, I be like 'sheesh'... Because I love women. I love women in all their splendor, friendships, best friends, lovers, all that."

During his period of celibacy, Omarion reported experiencing a form of telepathy, feeling closer to others even when they were physically absent. He credited this with teaching him the power of discipline and self-control, which has allowed him to "turn his life into just another level." Omarion described this experience as a "cheat code" for focusing and committing to something.

Omarion's past experiences with celibacy have been publicly discussed before, including during an interview last summer. In that conversation, he addressed peers' questions about pursuing a career versus starting a family, saying, "Do you want to have a career? Or do you want to be out here making babies?" Omarion emphasized the importance of considering one's values and goals.

More recent updates from Omarion include an upcoming collaboration with Create Music Group and an announcement of his new album titled O2. The singer expressed excitement about sharing new music, stating that he is "ready to give the world some new vibes all the way."

I'm curious about Omarion's spiritual journey, but as a parent I worry about the maturity level of someone who's still reflecting on their experiences with celibacy at 15 😕. It's great that he found discipline and self-control through this experience, but can't he be learning those lessons in school or from his role models instead? 🤔

omg u guys i just saw this interview with omarion on shawn stockman's podcast and its crazy how much he's grown lol 🤯 like 3 yrs of celibacy is a big deal but its also super inspiring that hes found his strength in being self controlled 💪 & now he's making music again w/ create music group & new album o2! 🎶 cant wait to hear those new vibes 🎵

I mean can you believe Omarion was celibate for 3 years? 🤯 Like, I'm not mad at him for taking time for himself and figuring out what's important to him. It's actually kinda inspiring to hear that he found discipline and self-control during that period. And now he's getting back into the game with new music – I'm low-key excited! 😎

You know what I'm getting at here 🤔... Omarion's story is like a reminder that growth happens outside our comfort zones. We think we know ourselves, but then we try something new and BAM! Our perspective shifts 💥. Celibacy, in his case, was a radical choice that forced him to reevaluate what he wanted from life. And let me tell you, it's not always easy to admit when we've been wrong 😬... Omarion could've gotten stuck in that mindset of "I'm celibate, so I must be a better person"... but nope! He realized that sex is a natural part of life and he still values self-control. The key takeaway? It's all about balance and being honest with ourselves 🙏.

OMG I'm glad Omarion is speaking out about his experience! Three years without sex can't be easy for someone so young, especially when you're in the spotlight. It's dope that he found a spiritual connection and used it as an opportunity to focus on himself and develop discipline 🙏. I think it's awesome that he's now embracing his sexuality and being open about it. We need more men like him who aren't afraid to explore their feelings and desires 💕. Now, can we talk about his upcoming collab with Create Music Group? I'm low-key hyped for new music 😁!

omg u guys Omarion sounds sooo mature rn 🤯 i love how he's being real about his spiritual journey and acknowledging it wasnt easy for him but it made him stronger 💪 and omg that telepathy thing tho? 🧘‍♂️ i wanna try celibacy just to see if i can feel that connection too 😆 anyway i cant w8 4 his new album O2!! 💥 gotta have more of those soulful vibes from him 🎶

🤔 I'm not sure if three years is really long enough for someone to figure out what they want when it comes to sex and relationships... 🙃 Omarion's experience sounds pretty intense, but we're talking about a 15-16 year old here! 😊 It's like he was trying to adult before his time? 🤷‍♂️ I'm all for people finding themselves, but maybe he should've done it under the guidance of some grown-ups instead of on his own? 👀

man this omarion dude is all about self-reflection now 🤯 i feel like his 3-year celibacy stint was a wild ride but honestly who can blame him for seeking out personal growth and discipline 💪 it's awesome that he's able to look back on that time and say 'sheesh' because he loves women so much 😊 i love how he's talking about the power of telepathy too, like what even is that? anyway his new album o2 sounds fire 🔥 can't wait to get my hands on it

I'm reading this article now and I gotta say, Omarion seems like a really introspective guy. Like, it's cool that he took the time to reflect on his own desires and values. It's not always easy to admit when we don't know what we want or need. But at 15-16, he was already thinking about this stuff? That's wild. I'm kinda curious about how he navigates relationships now... is it like, does he just dive in headfirst because he wants to experience that "sheesh" feeling? 🤔

Man I'm kinda weirded out by this dude's story 🤯 three years of no sex just to figure himself out? 🤷‍♂️ I get it, spiritual journey and all that but like what about all the emotions that come with being human, you know? 💔 I think his experience sounds super intense and a bit alienating from reality. He's still got that "I love women" vibe going on tho 😏 and I'm low-key here for it. But what really gets me is when he says he did it to focus and commit to something... like, wasn't the whole point of him exploring his own body and desires in the first place? 🤔

OMG, three years without sex? That's wild 💥! I can see why Omarion says it was a transformative experience, but at the same time, I'm like... isn't being celibate just about abstaining from sex, not about finding yourself or whatever 🤔. It sounds like he learned some valuable lessons about self-control and discipline, which is cool, I guess 👍. But now that he's back to being... well, him 😉, can we expect a new level of Omarion? His music always had that vibe 🎶.

Ugh, I'm like totally confused about Omarion's decision to go celibate 🤔. I mean, I get it, spiritual growth and all that, but three years? That's a looong time without, you know, getting jiggy with it 💁‍♂️. And now he's all like "I love women" and "I'm so glad I did it"... but didn't he miss out on some epic parties or whatever? 🎉👀. I think it's cool that he learned discipline and self-control, though - that can be super helpful in life. But omg, a "cheat code" for focusing? That sounds like something from a game 🎮. Anyway, new music from him is always dope, so I'm hyped about that! 🎵

🤔 I think its interesting how people approach their own spirituality and personal growth, like Omarion did with his three-year experiment in celibacy 🕉️. It's almost like he found a new language for himself, one that lets him connect with others on a deeper level without having to navigate the physical realm 💬. The idea of "discipline" as a kind of cheat code is pretty fascinating too - it makes me wonder if this experience changed his perception of power and control in other areas of life 🤝. Anyway, I'm curious about how this new album and collaboration will play out - Omarion's energy seems to be all over the place lately 😎.

OMG, THIS IS CRAZY!!! SO OMARION WAS CELIBATE FOR 3 YEARS AND IT WAS LIKE A GAME CHANGER FOR HIM!!! HE SAID HE REALIZED Sex IS NATURAL AND CAN'T BE DENIED!!! NOW HE'S READY TO GET BACK INTO THE GROOVE AND SHARE NEW MUSIC!!! I THINK ITS AWESOME THAT HE FOUND SELF-CONTROL THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

I gotta say, it's pretty cool how Omarion found his inner peace through celibacy 🤯🙏. I mean, I've tried fasting before and I felt like I could tackle anything 💪. But being spiritually connected with others like that? That's some next level stuff 🔝. I'm glad he's sharing this experience to help others find their own path 👍. Three years is a long time, too - I can imagine it was tough at times 🤯. Anyway, new music is always welcome 🎵! Omarion sounds like he's ready for his close-up 💃.

🤯 I'm low-key impressed by Omarion's honesty about his three-year celibacy stint 🤫. Like, it takes guts to admit you were resisting sex just because... but also, I get why he needed that experience. He seems really introspective now and like he's found a new level of focus 🔥. And omg, his "cheat code" analogy is everything 💯. Can't wait for that new album tho! 😁

I'm low-key living for this dude's honesty, you feel? Being celibate at 15 is wild, but I get it, wanting to explore yourself before jumping into a whole thing. And omg, telepathy sounds like a major "woo" experience 🤯. But seriously, Omarion's got some good points about self-control and living life on your terms. I'm hyped for his new album, O2 – can't wait to vibe out with him!
