Prediction markets are like a double-edged sword

. On one hand, they can be a super useful tool for making informed decisions about events that might happen in the future. I mean, who wouldn't want to know if there's gonna be a huge storm coming or not? But on the other hand, all those people with access to info could totally use it to cheat and mess up the game

. It's like, what if someone knows for sure that Joe is gonna win the election and they just bet on it? That's not cool, fam.
And then there's this whole thing about manipulation of markets... I don't even know how those algorithms work but it sounds sketchy

. I mean, if you're gonna create a system where people can bet on stuff, at least make sure it's not rigged or something

.
It's like, we need to be careful with this stuff and make sure everyone's playing by the same rules

. But at the same time, it could be super interesting to see how these markets work out in practice... maybe?
