One month after the Epstein files deadline, only a fraction of the DOJ's records have been released

Come on, DOJ! You gotta get your act together 🤯. I mean, we know you're trying to protect victims' identities, but withholding documents that could implicate associates? That's just shady 💁‍♀️. Reps. Massie and Khanna are right on the money - this is an obstruction of justice case for sure! And what's with all these redactions? Selective redactions can't be it, that's just a cop-out 🚫. The law is clear: release those files within 30 days or face the music 🎵. It's been a year and counting, folks - time's running out! 🕰️

"The truth is rarely pure and never simple." 💡 The more I read about the Justice Department's delay in releasing Epstein files, the more frustrated I get. It's like they're playing with fire, withholding evidence that could expose associates of a notorious sex offender. I'm not surprised that victims' advocates are demanding transparency and justice – it's only fair after all they've been through. But it's concerning when politicians claim they don't have standing to make such a request... something's fishy here. 🤔

When will they release the docs?!

Justice for Epstein victims!

🤔 "You can't have too much justice in one place" - it's like that saying goes...

honestly, I think it's wild that it's been a whole year since they had this deadline to release all those files related to Epstein's case and we're still waiting on so many documents. I mean, victims and advocates are super frustrated because they think there's some key info out there that could implicate other people involved in the abuse.

🤷‍♂️ It seems like the Justice Department is being super secretive about it all, saying that releasing more stuff would cause harm to the victims... but isn't that kind of the opposite? I mean, transparency and justice are basically what everyone's fighting for here. It feels like there's just a whole lot of red tape (literally) getting in the way.

😒 I'm not gonna weigh in on whether or not Reps Massie and Khanna have standing to make this request... but it does seem pretty clear that they're not happy about what's going on, and who can blame them?

it's mindblowing how much info is being withheld from public eye about jeffrey epstein case 🤯. i feel so bad for victims who are still waiting for justice to be served. it's not just about transparency, but also about accountability of people involved in this scandal. the justice dept is trying to protect its own associates and reputation by hiding docs, but that's not how democracy works 💔. we need more voices from survivors and advocates to push for truth and justice. the fact that rep khanna is calling it an "obstruction of justice" says it all 🚫. why can't attorney general bondi just follow the law and let people see what really went down? 🤦‍♀️

🤔 I'm so sick of the slow pace in getting justice for those affected by Epstein's abuse 🙅‍♂️. It's been a year since they were supposed to release all their files and yet only a tiny fraction has come out 📄. The victims' advocates are right, there are still key documents that could implicate associates of Epstein 🤝. I think it's really frustrating for them that the Justice Department is withholding this info 🚫.

The reps from Congress seem to be on the same page as the survivors and advocates 👊. They're not buying the DOJ's excuse about protecting victim identities, it just seems like a bunch of red tape 📝. I mean, what's the point of having an Act that requires transparency if the department is just going to ignore it? 🤷‍♂️

I'm also getting annoyed with how they're using the "no legal standing" argument to silence people who are speaking out 👊. It's like, come on, isn't transparency supposed to be a fundamental right or something? 🤔
