Opinion: ‘Until we meet again, brave little cat.’ The heartbreak and taboo of burying our pets | CNN

Ugh, another article about how we need more public pet cemeteries 🤦‍♀️... I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm all for acknowledging the emotional connection we have with our pets, but can't we just find a better way to deal with grief? It's like we're still stuck in the past, relying on outdated rituals and physical spaces to process our emotions. And what about those who can't afford or don't have access to these cemeteries? It feels like another example of how the wealthy get to indulge in emotional expression while others are left behind 🤑...

omg this is so deep 🤯 i mean i never thought about how similar our grief over losing pets is to grieving over humans lol like who else gets a 50% pet ownership rate in the city ?? barca's public pet cemetery tho sounds like a nice spot for folks to grieve and remember their furry friends 💕 but online forums and digital cemeteries are cool too 🤖 i think it's awesome that ppl are finding new ways to honor those special pets we lose 🙏

🤔 I mean, think about it - we spend so much time planning funerals for our humans, but when it comes to our furry friends, it's like "oh well, just bury them in the backyard". Like, nope! 🚮 Not in my grandma's garden, at least. I love how this article points out that people are still struggling to find ways to grieve after losing a pet. We need more options than just "just forget about it". Digital pet cemeteries and online forums can be helpful, but let's be real, sometimes you just wanna pay respects in person 🌳💀
