I'm literally so done with Russia's grip on Transnistria
. Like, I get it, they're trying to keep their influence and whatnot, but honestly, it's just so unfair to the people living there
. The economy is struggling, trade tensions are high... it's like, can't they see that Russia's all about control and not about helping these folks?
But you know what's really interesting (in a good way, lol)? That some Transnistrians are actually starting to think, "Hey, maybe we don't need Russia holding our hand all the time"
. I mean, the EU thing is like, a game-changer for them? The idea that they might be able to join forces with Europe and leave Russia's shadow behind... it's like, what a feeling of freedom!
And can we talk about how Moldova's trying to maintain good relations with Russia while dealing with all this drama in Transnistria?
It's like, you're stuck between a rock and a hard place, or in this case, between Russia and... well, more Russia
. I just hope that one day, these regions can actually break free from the past and forge their own paths. That would be, like, the ultimate victory
