This whole thing got me thinking... what's the point of having a parliament if they're just gonna rubber stamp whatever the army chief wants? It's like, democracy is all about checks and balances, right? But when one branch of gov gets too much power, it can get real messy fast. I mean, this Asim Munir dude is basically getting above the law - that's not a healthy system. And what's with all these opposition parties just giving up? It's like they're saying "oh well, might as well just let the army run the show". We need more people speaking out against this kind of thing... and more folks demanding accountability from those in power
