I feel bad for the people who went through that trauma back in the day 
. It's like, they already had PTSD from one big mess, now another one is coming along and making them worry again 
. I get why residents are skeptical, though - it seems like just a bunch of promises being made without any concrete plans or guarantees that things won't go wrong again 
. I wish the city would put more thought into how they're going to make sure everyone's voice is heard in this planning process
