Pascal Siakam and Pacers nip Celtics 98-96 for 1st 3-game win streak of season

The Indiana Pacers pulled off a thrilling 98-96 win over the Boston Celtics, handing the Celtics their first three-game losing streak of the season. Pascal Siakam led the charge with 21 points, including the game-winning 7-foot bank shot with just 6.1 seconds left on the clock.

In the end, it was Derrick White's go-ahead 3-point attempt that fell short, and he had tied the game at 96-all on a driving layup with 28.6 seconds remaining. Siakam capitalized on the rebound and pulled off an incredible leaner to bank in the winning shot.

The Pacers were led by Jay Huff, who notched 20 points, including four 3-pointers, while Payton Pritchard paced the Celtics with 23 points and eight assists. Anfernee Simons chipped in with 16 points for Boston.

The win marked a much-needed turnaround for the Pacers, who improved to 9-31 on the season. The team was without forward Bennedict Mathurin, sidelined by a thumb injury, but still managed to get the job done.

For the Celtics, it was their second straight loss and third in four games, as they head into a four-game trip. Jaylen Brown was absent from the game due to lower back spasms, and earlier Monday was fined $35,000 for criticizing referees.

The Pacers will look to keep their winning momentum going when they host Toronto on Wednesday, while the Celtics will face off against Miami on Thursday.

๐Ÿค” I'm more about the real issue here - the lack of representation in the NBA and its impact on social justice. Have you seen the stats on player salaries? It's outrageous! Guys like Jaylen Brown earning 35k for speaking up, while some players are making bank with their on-court performances. ๐Ÿค‘ The Pacers' win is cool and all, but let's not forget about the real battle - fighting for equality off the court ๐Ÿ™Œ

I mean think about it, a 7-foot bank shot with just 6.1 seconds left is like that moment in life when you gotta seize the opportunity and trust your instincts ๐Ÿคฏ. It's not always easy, but sometimes you gotta be willing to take the risk and make it happen. The Pacers were down and out, but they found a way to come back and win, just like we do in life when we're faced with our own struggles. It's all about perseverance and believing in yourself ๐Ÿ™. And what's crazy is that even though Derrick White came so close to winning the game for Boston, it was ultimately the Pacers who got the W. Sometimes you gotta give credit where credit is due, and tonight was definitely a moment for the Pacers ๐ŸŽ‰.

Wow, that Pascal Siakam is a genius ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฏ! I mean, who needs training wheels when you can just bank in a 7-foot shot at the buzzer? The Pacers were down and out, but Jay Huff's hot shooting kept them alive, and then Siakam delivered. That leaner was insane! ๐Ÿ’ฅ I'm loving this turnaround for Indy - they definitely needed it ๐Ÿ˜‚. The Celtics have been struggling, what with Brown getting hurt and all that drama... Jaylen, take care of those back spasms, please ๐Ÿค’!

omg that bank shot by pascal siakam is insane ๐Ÿ˜ฑ! i mean, we all know injuries are a part of the game, but still gotta feel bad for bennedict mathurin ๐Ÿค•. and poor celtics, losing 3 in a row... i guess it's just one of those weeks? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ on the bright side, pacers got that big win and they're back in the running! ๐Ÿ’ช so fingers crossed for them against toronto on wednesday ๐Ÿคž. siakam's 21 points are straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ can't wait to see what's next for these teams ๐Ÿ‘€

omg what a crazy game ๐Ÿคฏ i mean that final seconds were insane! Siakam's leaner was so clutch ๐Ÿ™Œ and White's 3pt attempt fell short ๐Ÿ˜ i loved the comeback from the Pacers tho, 9-31 is still kinda rough but they're on a roll now ๐Ÿ’ช Jay Huff went beast mode with those 4 3-pointers ๐Ÿ”ฅ and Payton Pritchard had an amazing game as well ๐Ÿคฉ but for the Celtics, it's tough to see them go three straight without Jaylen Brown ๐Ÿ‘

Ugh, I'm still in shock ๐Ÿ˜ฑ about what happened last night! The Pacers are literally getting a second chance after all those losses and it's so cool to see them turn it around ๐Ÿ’ช. Siakam's bank shot was insane ๐Ÿคฏ I mean who needs a jump shot when you can just lean in and make it happen? Jay Huff was on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ 4 three-pointers is insane! And can we talk about how crazy Derrick White's go-ahead attempt fell short? Like what even is that?! ๐Ÿ˜ฉ It was such an exciting game, I wish I could've been there in person ๐Ÿคฏ

omg what a game ๐Ÿ’ฅ! i'm so stoked for the pacers!! they really needed that win and it's awesome they could pull it off without their star player bennedict mathurin ๐Ÿค• hope he recovers soon. pascal siakam is literally the hero of the game ๐Ÿ˜‚ his bank shot at the end was insane! i love how jay huff stepped up and got 20 points too ๐Ÿ™Œ the celtics are having a tough time right now, but they'll bounce back for sure ๐Ÿ’ช and can't wait to see what happens in their next games ๐Ÿ“บ

๐Ÿค” So yeah I'm loving this win for the Pacers, but it got me thinking... what's even more impressive is how they handled the loss of Bennedict Mathurin ๐Ÿค•. They still managed to pull off a W without him, that shows heart and teamwork! ๐Ÿ’ช It's like life, we all gotta deal with setbacks & injuries sometimes, but it's how we respond that matters ๐Ÿ’”

๐Ÿค” come on people, Pacers win and everyone's making a big deal out of it... like 98-96 is that impressive? I mean, Celtics were probably gonna lose anyway and Siakam just capitalized on a broken system. And don't even get me started on Jaylen Brown being fined for speaking his mind, what's next? ๐Ÿค‘ the Pacers are like a fluke team or something and we're all over them like white on rice... let's wait till they lose again before we start celebrating

OMG, what a game!!! I'm low-key obsessed with Pascal Siakam rn... that leaner shot tho ๐Ÿคฏ! 4th quarter is where it's at, Pacers were down by like 5 points and Jay Huff just took over! ๐Ÿ˜… And that Celtics team is gonna need to shake off this losing streak ASAP. Jaylen Brown was out for like what, a good chance of the game? And now they're facing Miami? That's like, a whole different beast ๐Ÿˆ. Pacers are on fire though, can't wait to see what happens next ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

omg just watched this game ๐Ÿคฏ Pacers totally snatched it from the Celtics! Siakam's 7ft bank shot at the end was insane ๐Ÿ”ฅ like what a way to win a game? and I'm glad Jay Huff was on fire with those 4 three-pointers ๐ŸŽฏ but sad for Bennedict Mathurin who had to sit this one out due to injury ๐Ÿ˜” anyway, Pacers are looking strong right now and I'm excited to see how they do against Toronto on Wednesday ๐Ÿ’ช

OMG what a crazy game!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I'm still in shock that the Pacers managed to pull it off like that! Pascal Siakam is a genius on the court ๐Ÿคฏ his bank shot was insane! And to think they were without Bennedict Mathurin... that's some clutch play right there! ๐Ÿ’ช Jay Huff killing it too with those 3-pointers ๐ŸŽฏ I'm loving the Pacers' momentum at this point, let's see if they can keep it up! ๐Ÿ‘

omg this is so crazy!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ i dont think i can handle all these last min wins from the pacers lol their player Jay Huff is like a 3 point shooting machine ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป he made 4 of them in that game alone. and that bank shot by pascal siakam at the end was insane ๐Ÿคฏ it looked like it was gonna miss, but boy did it go in! anyway i hope they keep this momentum going, its been a long time coming for them. and poor celtics, 3 straight losses now ๐Ÿค• benedict mathurin's thumb injury is no excuse tho, u gotta play thru that ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

OMG ๐Ÿคฏ just watched this insane game between Indiana Pacers & Boston Celtics! Pacers came from behind and stole the win in the last sec ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ! Pascal Siakam is like a wizard on court with that 7ft bank shot ๐Ÿ˜ฎ! But, man, Celtics are having a rough patch...๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Bennedict Mathurin's absence didn't even matter for Pacers cuz they had another player step up & slay ๐Ÿ™Œ. For Celtics, Jaylen Brown's injury is no joke ๐Ÿ˜“ & that fine from him is just a added stress ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Guess Pacers are on roll now and let's see if they can keep it up ๐Ÿคž!

omg u guys i cant even believe it !! ๐Ÿ˜ the pacers just pulled off an epic comeback win over the celtics and its literally the most satisfying game ever ! ๐Ÿ’ฅ pascal siakam is a genius with that last sec bank shot , i mean who else can just lean in and swish it like thats nothing ?? ๐Ÿคฏ i love how jay huff stepped up his 3pt game too , 4 of them in one game ? ๐Ÿ”ฅ and the pacers win marks their first 9-31 season win lol what a turn around for dem ! ๐Ÿ’ช

Man I'm still reeling from that crazy finish... 6.1 seconds left and it's all about the moment ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฅ Pascal Siakam's game-winner was more than just a shot, it was a reflection of his team's resilience and determination. And can we talk about the pressure he's under? He's gotta be a guy who stays calm in high-pressure situations... I mean, if you think about it, that 7-foot bank shot was like life itself - sometimes you gotta lean on something to keep going ๐Ÿคฏ. And what does this win say about the Pacers' team dynamic? They're not just fighting for wins, they're fighting for each other's backs ๐Ÿ’ช. It's beautiful to see.

๐Ÿ€ what's up with the refs in the NBA man? Jaylen Brown gets fined 35k just for speaking his mind and now he's missing games too! shouldn't we have more free speech in sports?! ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ’ช I'm lovin' this comeback win for the Pacers! They really needed it after a tough streak. Pascal Siakam's clutch shot is insane ๐Ÿ˜ฒ! I mean, who doesn't love a good 7-foot bank shot at the end of the game? It's like he's defying gravity ๐Ÿคฏ! Jay Huff is on fire too with those 4 three-pointers ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ”ฅ. The Celtics are having a tough patch right now and this loss will only make it tougher for them to get back into form ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. But hey, at least Jaylen Brown's lower back spasms aren't the end of the world... yet! ๐Ÿคž
