omg u guyz think they're gonna get it done on time lol the EU had to step in like a parent for the whole airline world american airlines is literally playing chicken with flight schedules meanwhile ana's passengers r stuck on sat lol what's the point of having an easa if they can't even keep software updates under control? and btw solar flares are super predictable so not like it's gonna be a surprise anymore

this is crazy stuff happening 
in the skies! I'm not surprised that a major airline like American Airlines got hit hard tho - they have thousands of planes to update 
. But 340 planes taking two hours each to complete? That's just not feasible especially with peak travel days on the weekend 
.I think it's awesome that the EU agency is being proactive about safety, but I'm also worried about how this will affect travelers. I mean, who expects their flight to be canceled due to software updates?

6,000 planes is a huge number of planes, and now thousands of flights are getting disrupted? That's just awful for all the passengers who have to deal with flight cancellations and long wait times. And Japan's ANA, I'm surprised they didn't go for a total overhaul instead of trying to manage the disruption themselves 
. It's like you gotta prepare for this kind of situation and not leave it till the last minute... lesson learned!
