I think it's super puzzling why they let Kelly go now? The guy was already under pressure, and you'd think giving him more time and resources would've been the way to go... but nope! It's like they're throwing good money after bad . Plus, have you seen their offense lately? It just doesn't feel like them, you know? Like they're trying to fit into a box that's not even theirs . I'm all for change and innovation, but this feels like a classic case of too much, too soon . Can't help but wonder what could've been if they'd just given Kelly the keys...
I think Carroll might've been too quick to pull the plug on Kelly . I mean, we all know Kelly's offense is wild but at least it was exciting to watch! The gun-based scheme should be a game-changer in the NFL and it's weird that they didn't give him more time to work with . Maybe he just needed some tweaks to fit their system ? I'm not saying Kelly was perfect, but come on, 2-9 is brutal and it can't all be on the OC
I'm kinda curious what's goin' on with the Raiders' season... I mean, 2-9 ain't exactly lightin' the world on fire . The thing that's got me thinkin' is that Kelly was definitely a hot mess when it came to play-calling. Like, I get it, mistakes happen, but botched calls at the line? That's just not good enough . And what's with all these rumors about Kelly not fit-tin' in with Carroll's system? I dunno if he needed more autonomy or not, but seems like a whole lotta hindsight now . Either way, it's clear that Carroll's decision to fire him has got everyone talkin', and I'm kinda wonderin' what the future holds for this team... will they be able to turn things around?
