Phillies stay or go: SP Walker Buehler

I'm like "yeah, I think Walker Buehler is totally overrated 🤔"... but then I'm like, "wait, what? no way, he's still got it! 😎" His recent stint with the Phillies was impressive, and the team's loaded rotation could definitely use him. But at the same time... *scratches head* ...if they're not willing to commit to a rotation spot, is he really worth an eight-figure salary? I'm torn, man 🤷‍♂️.

I mean, the Phillies need to focus on re-signing their key players, but Buehler could be a great addition... or maybe not? 😐 It's all about prioritizing, right? And what if they can't get him to take a discount? That would be a total bummer 💔. Ugh, I don't know what to think anymore 🤯!

omg i know right?! walker buehler is like such an underrated gem 🤩 he's proven himself time and time again as a solid starter and his recent stint with the phillies has been 🔥 i think the phillies are crazy for not giving him more cred tho. they're already set at depth with ranger suarez, so that makes buehler's value even more attractive 🤑 of course, he's gonna want some $$$ but if they can make it work, he could be a game changer for that team 🤯

omg u think walker buehler's gonna get like 8 figure deal? lol idk man, i mean he's been decent in philly but 7 figure? that's crazy talk! he had a rough patch with dodgers and injuries are always a concern. plus we need to see if he can keep up the pace over more than just 13.2 innings. and let's be real, phillies have to prioritize swarber and realmuto over some arm. i mean, those guys are already 28+ so they gotta re-sign or else. can't have another offseason of drama like last year... 😒

Imagine this 🤔
Walker Buehler's comeback story with the Phillies has been kinda quiet, but still looking good 💪
He's like that reliable friend who shows up to help out when needed 🔒
The team's got a strong rotation now, so he might not be the star of the show ⭐
But without him, they'd be in trouble if some of their top pitchers get hurt 🤕
I think it's good that he's worth 8 figures, but how much is too much? 💸
The Phillies need to make smart decisions on who to sign and when ⏰
They've got some big signings coming up, like Schwarber and Realmuto 📣
Let's hope they can balance depth with other priorities 🤞

I think it's cool that Philly's trying to get Walker Buehler back, he did do pretty well in his last stint there 🤔. But I gotta say, with all the injuries they had last year, it's crazy how much depth they have now 💪. They're in a good spot to make some smart moves without breaking the bank. It'd be nice if they could keep him at a reasonable price tho 🤑. Don't get me wrong, he's still got some value left in the tank ⚡️. The question is, can the Phillies convince him that they've got his back? 😬

The thing is Buehler's comeback has been pretty solid so far but I don't think he's gonna get that prime contract he wants 🤔...he needs a team with guaranteed rotation spots or at least 1-2 starters locked down, otherwise it's just gonna be like last season when Wheeler and Nola were out. Phillies could take advantage of this if they can sign guys like Schwarber and Realmuto but Bader and Castellanos are gonna want big bucks too 🤑...I think Philly needs to get real about their budget and not break the bank on a single arm...Buehler's value is nice but I'd rather see them build depth elsewhere 👍
