I mean, if they start charging them too, it'll be like they're pricing themselves out of their own events

It seems like an overreach by the Home Office to force sports bodies to cover more costs. I mean, don't get me wrong, public safety is paramount, but do we really need to single out football clubs and their events? The economic impact on smaller teams could be disastrous, not just in terms of ticket prices but also in terms of participation in competitions. It's a bit concerning that the FA, Rugby Football Union, and Cricket Board are already speaking out against this change. I'd love to see some more data-driven analysis on how this new system would really affect the events industry...
