Premier League's warped economics make £65m fee for Semenyo a snip | Jonathan Wilson

I'm literally shaking my head right now £65 million is WILD! I mean I get it Pep's a genius and all but come on, that's a small fortune for someone who's not even a superstar striker lol I've seen those centre-forwards struggling to make an impact and people are still shelling out millions for them? It just doesn't add up 🤯

I'm loving the hype around Semenyo though, he did look decent for Bournemouth and all but £65 million feels like a stretch to me. I'm not saying he's not worth it or anything but let's not get carried away here 😂

man 65 million for semenyo is wild 🤯
Pep's gotta have some tricks up his sleeve tho
but £65 mill feels like an insane amount even for a player who's doing well at bournemouth
the premier league has become all about throwing money at problems and hoping for the best

others will say he's overpaid and it'll all come crashing down 💥
