Trump's got everyone spooked, and it's not hard to see why - the guy's been acting like a hot mess on trade and foreign policy. It's like he's single-handedly trying to destroy the global order

And Europe's response is... well, I guess you'd call it pragmatic?
They're just trying to survive in this new world where China's basically the new US. But what about Western unity? Won't they eventually get caught up in the crossfire between their old ally and their new partner?

just read that Canada's trade deal with china was all about getting favorable market access... meanwhile trump's isolationist policies are driving away their friends
