Reading & Leeds Festival 2026: Charli XCX, Fontaines D.C., RAYE Among Huge Headliners

Reading & Leeds Festival 2026 to Feature a Star-Studded Lineup of Headliners

The highly anticipated Reading & Leeds Festival is just around the corner, with six incredible headlining acts set to take to the stage across the Bank Holiday weekend in August. This year's event promises to be one for the books, boasting an impressive lineup that includes the likes of Charli XCX, Fontaines D.C., RAYE, and Florence and the Machine.

The festival will be held at two iconic sites - Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds - with both venues set to host a range of talented acts. In addition to the already-announced headliners, fans can expect to see performances from up-and-coming artists like SOMBR, Skepta, and Geese.

A highlight of the festival is expected to be Kasabian's first-ever Thursday headliner slot on the main stage in Leeds, marking a new chapter for one of the UK's most beloved bands. The event will also feature two headline acts per day across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Other notable artists set to appear include Role Model, JADE, Josh Baker, Kneecap, Kettama, Chris Stussy (Reading only), Geese, Skye Newman, AdΓ©la, and Keo. A PayPal presale is now live, with a second presale taking place on December 2 before the general sale on December 3.

For fans of established acts, this year's festival promises to be just as exciting. Florence and the Machine, who last headlined in 2012, will return to the stage, while Dave - a previous headline act in 2022 - is set to bring his unique energy to the event. It's also worth noting that Fontaines D.C. are making their only UK festival appearance in 2026, following the conclusion of their 'Romance' tour in August.

Festival boss Melvin Benn has expressed his commitment to giving emerging talent a platform, stating that "it's a pointer to all festivals not to be afraid and to be bold with their bookings." With this year's lineup boasting an incredible mix of established acts and up-and-coming artists, it seems like the Reading & Leeds Festival 2026 is shaping up to be an unforgettable event.

omg I'm so stoked for the reading & leeds fest 2026!! 🀩 I've been waiting years for this lineup and it's actually pretty lit. Kasabian's Thursday slot is gonna be epic, and Florence & Machine coming back is like, a dream come true. but what's really got me hyped is all the new talent they're bringing in - SOMBR and Geese are my jam πŸŽΈπŸ‘ gotta get tickets ASAP!

I'm tellin' ya, back in my day we used to go to festivals and it was all about the unknowns, you know? Artists would show up out of nowhere and just blow the roof off 🀯. Now, with all these big-name headliners, it's like they're just playing by numbers πŸ“Š. Don't get me wrong, I love Charli XCX and Florence and the Machine, but it feels like the festival is more about the 'name' than the actual music 🎡.

And what's up with all these PayPal presales? In my day, we didn't need a special link to buy tickets online, we just showed up at the box office and bought 'em πŸ’Έ. Anyway, I'm sure it'll be a great festival, but I do hope they don't forget about the emerging talent 🀞.

🀣 Oh man, I'm so stoked for this festival! Like, who doesn't love a good excuse to hit the fields with thousands of other people and dance the day away? πŸ˜‚ It's gonna be lit with all these amazing acts - Charli XCX is gonna bring her A-game and Florence and the Machine is always a treat. But I gotta ask, what's up with Kasabian doing their first Thursday headliner slot? Like, are we trying to confuse people or something? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Either way, it's gonna be a wild ride! And omg, have you seen the lineup for Geese and SOMBR? Those newbies better bring their A-game or they'll get destroyed by the pros πŸ˜…. Anyway, can't wait to see who else is coming out to slay it on stage this year! πŸŽ‰

omg i'm so hyped for reading & leeds 2026 πŸ€©πŸŽ‰!!! charli xcx and fontaines d.c are already on my list πŸ“, but kasabian's thursday headliner slot is going to be insane πŸ”₯ can't wait to see some amazing up-and-coming artists like sombr and skepta too 🌟 gotta pre-buy those tickets ASAP! πŸ’Έ

omg u guys i cant even... Kasabian is coming back lol its been so long since they headlined and this is their first ever thursday slot thats wild also i love that they're giving a platform to emerging talent like SOMBR & Geese, gotta check them out 🀩🎢 what do u think about the lineup so far?

I mean, have you seen the lineup for Reading & Leeds Fest next year? It's got some big names, but I'm just not sold on the whole festival vibe πŸ€”. All these headliners and supporting acts are gonna make it super crowded and expensive to get into. And what's with all the PayPal presales? Can't we just have a general sale like normal? I swear, every year it feels like they're trying to nickel-and-dime us to death πŸ’Έ. And don't even get me started on the fact that Kasabian is only doing one Thursday headliner slot... seems like they're phoning it in 😐. Give me some chill music festivals with a decent sound system and a reasonable price tag, you know? 🎡

omg u guys kasabian is comin back 🀩 i no some ppl r like "why is kasabian playin on thursday tho?" but honestly i think its a sick move for the band and will prob bring in a whole new crowd who dont even know they exist lol. and have u seen the rest of the lineup? sombr is literally my fave artist rn 🀯 skepta and geese too r goin to be lit on thursday n friday nite i'm def comin for the festival this year πŸŽ‰

🀩 oh man I'm so stoked for the reading and leeds festival in 2026!!! πŸŽ‰ it's gonna be such a sick lineup with charli xcx and fontaines d.c. headlining 🀘 and kasabian making their thursday debut 😲 my kids are literally going to lose it when they see florence and the machine on stage again 🌟 and i love that the festival is giving more chances to new artists it's like, super cool for them to get a platform πŸ’–

OMG u guys!! 🀩 I'm literally super hyped for this year's Reading & Leeds Fest!!! The lineup is EVERYTHING and more! Charli XCX and Florence + The Machine are gonna bring the house down as headliners, and Kasabian's Thursday slot is gonna be SO lit!!! And can we talk about how stoked I am that some of my fave up-and-comers like SOMBR and Geese are making it to the festival? It's always sick to see new talent get a chance to shine, and I love that Melvin Benn is pushing for bold bookings. Also, Dave is bringing his unique energy back to the scene, and Fontaines D.C.'s only UK festival appearance in 2026 is a BIG deal! It's gonna be a wild ride this August, mark my words!!! πŸ˜†

man... i'm really stoked for reading & leeds 2026! πŸŽ‰ they've got a sick lineup this year, and i love that they're giving space to some emerging talent too. kasabian's return is gonna be lit, and i'm hyped to see them try out their new slots. the fact that fontaines d.c. are making their only uk festival appearance in 2026 is like, a big deal for fans of indie music. and it's awesome that they're not afraid to take risks with their bookings 🀩. the variety of acts from different genres is gonna make it so interesting to see how everything comes together... i'm also thinking about getting tickets ASAP because paypal presale is already live πŸ’Έ

OMG u guys, I'm literally so hyped for Reading & Leeds 2026!!! πŸ’₯πŸŽ‰ I mean, can u believe we get to see Charli XCX and Florence + The Machine back on stage?! 🀯 It's like a dream come true! And the fact that Kasabian is making their Thursday headliner debut is, like, a major highlight for me! 🀩 Plus, SOMBR and Geese are going to blow our minds with their new vibes 😍. I'm also super stoked about Dave bringing his energy to the festival. It's gonna be, like, the ultimate festival experience! 🌟

I'm so stoked for the Reading & Leeds Fest next year 🀩! They're bringing back some legendary acts like Florence + The Machine and Dave, which is gonna be lit πŸ’₯. But what's really exciting is all the new talent they're giving a chance to shine – I mean, who's not loving SOMBR and Geese right now? 😍. It feels like the festival is all about finding that perfect balance between old-school vibes and fresh faces. And let's give it up for Kasabian making their first-ever Thursday headliner slot – it's gonna be EPIC! πŸ€Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ. Can't wait to see how the whole weekend comes together...

omg u guys r gonna love this!!! 🀩 reading & leeds fest 2026 has an insane lineup!! charli xcx, fontaines d.c., and florence + the machine are headlining πŸŽ‰ plus kasabian is making their thursday debut!!! πŸ’₯ and its not just about the big names they got a ton of new faces like sombr, skepta, and geese 🀝 also gotta say that the festival boss is all about giving emerging talent a chance which i love πŸ‘ can't wait for aug!! πŸ‘€ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-59241971

Ugh, I'm so done with festivals πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ... just kidding, I LOVE festival season!!! But for real though, can we talk about how crowded it's gonna get at Bramham Park? Like, isn't that just one big mess waiting to happen?! 😬 On the other hand, I'm super hyped to see Charli XCX and Florence and the Machine live... but what if it rains?! 🌧️ That would totally ruin my vibe... or would it be a fun excuse to splash around in puddles?! 🀣

Ugh, great, another overhyped music festival that's just gonna break the bank for all these youngins πŸ€‘. Like, who needs to pay Β£200+ for a day of screaming and overcrowding? And don't even get me started on the headliners - it's just more of the same old pop and indie rock rubbish 🎡. I mean, what's with all the emphasis on up-and-coming artists? Just another excuse for the festival to be played out by a bunch of annoying teenagers who can't afford to buy tickets anyway πŸ˜’. And Kasabian's Thursday headliner slot? Please, they're just doing it because they feel old and want to cling to their 'cool' status πŸ™„. It's all just another money-grab fest in my book...

omg I'm so down for this festival 🀩, I mean can you even imagine seeing Kasabian live on thursday 😲? Florence and the Machine returning is also gonna be lit πŸ’ƒ, but like what's with the PayPal presales? isn't that just a way to make more money off us πŸ€‘? anyway, i'm planning on getting tickets ASAP, who else is going? 🎟️ btw, have you guys seen any good concerts or festivals this year?

OMG u guys 🀩 I'm literally counting down the days until Reading & Leeds Festival 2026!!! Kasabian's Thursday headliner slot is gonna be EVERYTHING 😍 and Florence + The Machine is back baby πŸ’– I've been listening to their old songs nonstop since they last played in 2012 🎡 Fontaines D.C. are also making their only UK festival appearance, which is like, the ultimate honor for them πŸ™Œ and I'm so hyped about the PayPal presale - I prepped my wallet ASAP πŸ’Έ Can't wait to see RAYE live, she's one of my fave artists right now 🎀

πŸ€” I'm so over festivals having a separate PayPal presale just for those who want to secure tickets early 😩. It's like they're trying to nickel and dime people before the general sale even happens. Can't we just have one fair chance at getting tickets without all the extra stress? πŸ’Έ

πŸ€• Festivals are just gonna keep getting more popular and crowded, I mean who needs personal space when you're trying to enjoy some music right? 🎡 And with all these big-name headliners, it's gonna be super hard to get tickets... I'm already dreading the long lines and overcrowded port-a-potties 😷. Not to mention the environmental impact of all those festival-goers flocking to one place at once... like, what's next? 🌎
