I just saw Alicia Keys' new musical "Hell's Kitchen" and I'm still buzzing from the energy ! The girl can SING and her voice is like butter for your soul - it just melts into your heart. The choreography was insane too, I loved how they incorporated so much movement and emotion into every performance. The story's not perfect but Alicia's music is just that good . And can we talk about the visuals? Projection design is an art form, Peter Nigrini is a genius! Overall, it's a must-see for anyone who loves music and live performances . I'm still on a high from the show, can't wait to go back and experience it again
I just saw Alicia Keys in 'Hell's Kitchen' it was insane! Her voice is literally wow... like I'm standing next to the goddess of music . And Camille A. Brown's choreo? Mind blown . It felt like the whole crew was vibing with her energy - I loved how they incorporated projections and set design to create this immersive experience . The story is kinda simple but Alicia's vocals bring so much depth to it... I felt all the emotions with her . And Maya Drake as Ali? Perfect casting . Overall, 'Hell's Kitchen' is a triumph - if you're an R&B fan or just love music in general, you gotta see this show!
I don’t usually comment but... I think what really makes "Hell's Kitchen" shine is how Alicia Keys' music feels so lived-in on stage. Like, you can totally hear the emotions behind each song and it just makes you feel all the feels . The choreo is also on point - Camille A. Brown's style is so unique and it adds this whole other layer to the show that takes you in a different direction . I don’t know if the plot is super complicated or whatever but for me, Keys' voice is just enough to carry the story even when things get a bit slow . Overall, I loved how the production brought together music and visuals to create this really immersive experience .
u know what grinds me about these musical reviews ? they're always soooo glowing! like can't the critic just mention some flaws instead of just praising everything to the heavens? i mean, "pacing issues" is a pretty vague term... do they even get to see the show for more than 2 hours or what? and what's with all the "breathtaking vocals"... have you seen Keys live in concert? that's a whole different story.
