2025 is already looking so intense with this ongoing conflict in Ukraine

I mean, can you believe it's been almost 1,350 days since this all started?

It's like, three years ago and the situation still hasn't changed much, sadly. Russian forces are struggling to hold onto Pokrovsk, while Ukrainian troops are pushing back hard

. And then there's the drone attacks on Odesa β that's just heartbreaking

. What's really worrying is the impact on civilians, especially with fires breaking out and no casualties reported due to quick emergency responses

.
But what's even more concerning is the escalation of rhetoric from both sides. Putin's signing of a law allowing military reservists to protect critical infrastructure sounds super ominous

. And Ukraine's President Zelenskyy urging Western countries for more support is really important, but how long can that continue without any progress?
It's interesting to see Kazakhstan and Japan trying to navigate their relationships with Russia despite international sanctions

. But at the end of the day, it's Ukraine and Russia that need to find a way to talk things through and end this conflict once and for all

.
