I'm low-key excited that Russia is finally trying to get back into the satellite launch game . The Soyuz 5 rocket sounds like a solid addition to their lineup, but I'm not holding my breath for demand . I mean, with China and India dominating the medium-lift market, it's gonna be tough for Russia to stand out from the crowd . They're gonna need to prove that this rocket is more than just a "me too" alternative . If someone does end up taking a gamble on it, props to them, I guess ... but I'm not counting on it .
idk why ppl rnt excited about dis new rocket launch tho it seems like russias got a bit of a headache since they invaded ukraine. all dem satelites gettin launched every year, who's gonna wanna pay big bucks 4 somethin thats just another option? i mean china & india r killin it in the medium lift market, why would anyone jump on russian tech? plus, that first stage engine might not be enough 2 compete with the big boys like spacex.
