Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of former leader, killed in Libya

⚠️ This news is like a big sigh of relief for many Libyans, who lived with fear of Gaddafi's rule & its legacy. His killing might not solve all Libya's problems but it's a step forward in holding those responsible accountable 💼. I wonder what would've happened if he was elected president 🤔... still hard to believe someone with that history could run for office 🙄. Guess we'll just have to wait & see how this plays out now 🔮

tbh i dont think its a big loss for libya... hes a pretty toxic figure who was responsible for loads of harm & suffering to innocent ppl 🤕. his "pardon" in 2017 was basically just a slap on the wrist considering all the crimes he committed, and now he's dead? lol sounds like karma to me 🙏. but honestly its not gonna solve the problems libya faces - its still got loads of instability & division, and ppl are still living in poverty & fear 💔. so lets not celebrate his death just yet, lets focus on fixing the actual issues 😒

🤔 I'm kinda surprised that Saif al-Islam was finally taken out 🚫. He's been living under house arrest for ages, but managed to stay relevant by running for president in 2021 😂. It's wild to think he still had some fans in Libya despite his dad being a total dictator 💀. I hope this marks the beginning of a more stable Libya 🌎, but it's hard not to feel that there are more ghosts from the past waiting to be buried 👻. The fact that his death is causing mixed emotions says a lot about how complex and messy Libya's history still is 💔.

I'm thinking... like what's next for libya 🤔 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-60185444

so they say he was a bad guy who did some nasty things but still got pardoned and ran for president 🤷‍♂️, it's all pretty wild. i mean, i guess it's good that he's dead or whatever 👻, but the country is still super divided and stuff. does anyone know what's gonna happen next in libya? 🤔

Libya needs to find stability, not more drama 😬
