Salt Lake City declines to charge anti-child-trafficking activist with sexual assault

OMG 😱 is this dude even a human being?? 🤷‍♂️ I mean i know he's got a good name and all but exploiting women just for power?? that's like something out of a bad movie 🎥 He thought he could just use his org to get away with it and now people are like "nope not gonna stand for this" 💁‍♀️ I'm so done with this whole situation it's like the DA is saying "hey we can't prove anything so let him go" but what about all those women who had to deal with him?? 🤕 They're still suffering from emotional abuse and he gets to just waltz away? 🙄 This case needs a deeper look imo 👀

I'm so frustrated with this decision 🤯. I mean, two women come forward with these serious allegations and the DA just shrugs it off? Like, what about accountability? You can't just dismiss these claims because there's not enough "evidence" 💁‍♀️. It's like, does that even apply to people in power? The fact that Ballard resigned from his org doesn't make him untouchable 🚫.

And now the film crew is getting a free pass too? I remember watching that movie and feeling all those emotions about this guy... it was so triggering 🎥. Can we at least be honest with ourselves that maybe, just maybe, some of these things are true? We can't let him walk away from this one 💔.

I'm also worried about the message this sends to victims of sexual assault. Like, if you're a woman and someone in power is accused of doing something to you... do you even report it anymore? Do you just take the "insufficient evidence" route? 🤷‍♀️ We need real change, not just empty words 🗣️.

🤔 I'm still trying to wrap my head around this one... it's like, I get why they didn't want to charge him with anything, but at the same time, it feels like he's getting off scot-free? 🙄 Like, how can someone in a position of power just waltz out when there are multiple women coming forward with similar allegations? It's not even about whether they have proof or not... isn't that part of the job to gather evidence and build a case?

And don't even get me started on the whole 'false accusers' thing... like, what does that even mean? Is it really just about who's telling the truth? 🤷‍♀️ It feels like there's so much more going on here than meets the eye.
