OMG, I'm loving this
! The Puerto Rican art scene is giving me all the feels
. I mean, can you believe it's been a strong emphasis on culture since the 50s? That's like, totally iconic
. And those museums in San Juan? Mind. Blown. The MAC and Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico are literally must-visits for any art lover
.
But what I'm really excited about is ARTEYUNQUE
. Supporting site-specific commissions within El Yunque National Forest is like, totally innovative
. It's so cool to see Puerto Rican artists pushing boundaries and reimagining how contemporary art can coexist with nature
.
Of course, the challenges are real
. Public funding for cultural institutions has been dwindling, which is super concerning
. But I'm all about supporting local artists through initiatives like ARTEYUNQUE
. It's gonna be interesting to see how they continue to adapt and thrive in this crazy art world
. Can't wait to discover more emerging Puerto Rican artists!
But what I'm really excited about is ARTEYUNQUE
Of course, the challenges are real
