Scotland face 'play-off before the play-offs', says Steven Naismith

I don’t usually comment but I think it's crazy how tight the group is right now 🤯. Scotland, Denmark, Greece - all of them have such great squads and are fighting tooth and nail for those two spots. Naismith's strategy of "play-off before the play-offs" is genius though, it keeps things fair and gives both teams a chance to shine.

I'm loving the underdog vibes from Scotland right now 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. They've been through so much and have come out on top against Greece already this year, which was an upset in itself. The fact that Gilmour is looking to return by next week gives them a big boost too 💪.

It's going to be an amazing World Cup if Scotland can make it happen 🌎💥. Can you imagine the Scottish fans going wild in Mexico? 😆
 
omg u guys are gonna freak out when scotland makes it to the world cup lol 💥 i've been saying this since the start of the qualification campaign that we have what it takes to make a deep run in the tournament. steven naismith is right on point about the play-off before the play-offs, it's like our team has come full circle from making consecutive european championships to this moment. and let's be real, billy gilmour is gonna be back in no time 💪🏻 i'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it...
 
I'm low-key surprised Scotland is making it to the World Cup 🤔👀 They've had some tough games, but I think they're gonna pull through. Naismith's optimism about Billy Gilmour's return is pretty reasonable too. Can't have our star midfielder sitting out because of a minor injury 💪
 
so scotland's gonna have a "play-off before the play-offs"? 🤔 like, what even is that? it sounds like a total mess 😅 but seriously, how can you not win all your games if you're playing in a group with greece and denmark? 🤷‍♂️ i mean, scotland's got some decent players, but their team selection has been all over the place lately... billy gilmour's injury is a major concern tho 🤕 hopefully he'll be back on the field soon. can't wait to see how this whole thing unfolds 😬
