Seven out of 10 UK mothers feel overloaded, research reveals

I totally get why all these UK mums are feelin' overwhelmed 🤕... I mean, who wouldn't be with all those responsibilities on top of raisin' tiny humans? It's like no one expects 'em to do it all alone anymore 😔. And what really breaks my heart is that they're puttin' so much pressure on themselves, forgettin' they need help too 🤗. We should all just take a deep breath and remember, we can't pour from an empty cup ourselves... someone else gotta be there to support us 💕. Maybe it's time for some changes in the system, but I think we all know that easy fix ain't gonna come overnight 💪.

🤯 UK mums are literally drowning in a sea of responsibilities 🌊 I mean, 7 out of 10 feel like they're unable to cope?! That's insane! And it's not just the childcare and household stuff, it's the emotional toll too 🤕 Mental health issues are on the rise and it's all because we expect mums to do it all by themselves 💪 Meanwhile, there's this stigma around talking about mental health and getting help... it's like, what even is that?! 🙄 We need more than just empty promises from gov'ts and charities, we need real change! 💼

omg u guys, can u believe its still like this in 2025?? i mean, 7 out of 10 moms feel overwhelmed?? that's crazy!! 🤯 it makes me wanna hug all the moms out there who are struggling. i mean, dont even get me started on the career vs mom life struggle - one in three says its affected their work life balance?!? thats like, soooo not fair! 😒 and the stigma around talking therapies is still a thing?? come on people, let's be real, taking care of our mental health is super important 💖. i think the gov needs to step up their game and provide more support for new moms, it's time to stop making them feel like they're all alone in this mom life 🤝.

It's wild how much pressure these mums are under! I mean, who needs that kind of stress, right? 🤯 It's like, they're already juggling a million things and then you expect them to be all "oh, it's fine" about not being able to take care of themselves? No way, fam. We need to get our priorities straight and start supporting these women properly.

And I'm so done with the stigma around mental health. Like, if someone's struggling, just... talk to them, okay? Get them help! It's not that hard. But no, instead we're still shaming people for being vulnerable. That needs to change ASAP.

I'm all for the government saying they want to help, but let's be real, it's not enough. We need systemic changes here. Like, we need paid paternity leave, affordable childcare options... the works! Anything less is just Band-Aid-ing the problem.

it's so sad to hear that 7 out of 10 UK mums are feeling overwhelmed 🤕👩‍👧. i mean, we're already talking about work-life balance and it's like, you can't even breathe without people expecting u to do everything 🙄. i feel like these mums deserve so much more support, like proper training for healthcare pros 👨‍⚕️ and access to talk therapies 💬. it's not just about having a few more days off or a pat on the back, it's about addressing the root causes of this overwhelming feeling 😔. i think we need to rethink our societal expectations around motherhood and give these amazing women some real backup 🤝.
