OMG yall gotta see shania twain's speech at the CMT awards she's all about promoting diversity & equality in country music like, I love it! her 'queen of me' tour is gonna be so lit featuring female artists from different backgrounds & ages... it's time for some change i'm all for shania using her platform to break down barriers & uplift other women in the industry

Ugh, it's about time someone like Shania Twain came forward to talk about the lack of diversity in country music . I mean, I love a good "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" sing-along as much as the next person, but let's be real, it's been done to death and it doesn't exactly represent the complexity of women's experiences.

And can we talk about how long it took for someone like Shania to get this award? I mean, she's been in the game for decades, and finally, she gets recognized for her efforts to promote inclusivity? It's a bit late, if you ask me . And what about all the other talented female artists who have been doing this work behind the scenes?

I'm glad she's using her platform to showcase more diverse voices on her tour, though. We need more representation in country music and it's high time someone did something about it . Maybe now we'll see some real change .
