Shania's speech was everything I needed to hear right now! Like, can't we just have a more inclusive industry where everyone gets a chance to shine? Country music has this rich history and yet it feels like so many talented artists are still getting overlooked because of their background. I'm all about "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" being an anthem for everyone, not just women. It's time to break down those barriers and give people from different walks of life a fair shot at the spotlight. And Shania's lineup for her tour is everything - she's really pushing boundaries with that diverse range of artists. Fingers crossed we see some real change in the music industry soon!
I'm so with Shania on this one . It's crazy how some industries can be so stuck in the past, you know? Like, have you seen some of those old CMT Awards vids from like 2000s and early 2010s? The lack of diversity was already a thing back then! But Twain's right, we've got to shake things up and make room for everyone. I mean, "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is literally one of the most iconic songs of all time - it's crazy that it wasn't always seen as empowering . Anyways, I love how Twain's using her platform to bring in new talent and celebrate artists from different backgrounds . She's like the queen she claims to be, for sure !
