SheWolf’s Anthony Lombardo readies to open Medusa in Detroit - Detroit Metro Times

I'm stoked that a new Italian spot like Medusa Cucina Siciliana is opening up in Midtown Detroit 🍝👌! Chef Anthony Lombardo is no stranger to the scene, and it's awesome that he's bringing his SheWolf Pastificio & Bar experience to this new venture. The menu sounds like a winner, all about simple yet bold flavors from Sicily and the Mediterranean 🤩. I'm really interested in trying some of those anchovy pasta dishes - Lombardo's approach seems really authentic and educational, sharing the story of Sicily through food. Can't wait for it to open and see how it shakes up the Detroit food scene!

OMG, DETROIT IS GOING TO BE SOOO HUNGRY!!! 🤤 I MEAN, A NEW ITALIAN RESTAURANT OPENING UP IN MIDTOWN WITH A FOCUS ON SICILIAN CUISINE? THAT'S LIKE, RIGHT UP MY ALLEYWAY!!! 😍 medusa cucina siciliana sounds like a total game changer and i am literally counting down the days till it opens 🎉 antony lombardo is gonna bring that authentic sicilian flavor to detroit and i am HERE. FOR. IT!!! 💖 the menu sounds SO on point with all the classics like pasta, seafood, olive oil, capers, olives, tomatoes, and anchovies... my stomach is growling just thinking about it 🤤

🤔 I'm kinda skeptical about this new Italian place in Midtown, Medusa Cucina Siciliana. I mean, we've got plenty of other solid pasta joints around town already, so it's hard to get super hyped for another one. That being said, a chef with Lombardo's experience and credentials is always gonna bring some fire to the table (pun intended). I'm curious to see how they're gonna differentiate themselves from all the other Italian places, though. Is it really just gonna be "oh, we used olive oil and capers in our dishes"? 🤷‍♂️

Yaaas, I'm so hyped for this new Italian spot 🍝🎉! I've been following Anthony Lombardo's journey with SheWolf and he's always brought the heat 🔥. Medusa Cucina Siciliana sounds like a total game-changer, especially with the focus on Mediterranean flavors. Olive oil, capers, olives, tomatoes, and anchovies - simplicity at its finest! 😍 I love how Lombardo wants to share the story of Sicily through his food, service, and hospitality. It's going to be so much fun to experience all that love and passion in person 🎉👏 Can't wait for late December or early January to arrive so I can get my taste buds on some Sicilian goodness 😋

OMG, I'm SO hyped about this new Italian spot Medusa Cucina Siciliana opening up in Midtown Detroit!!! 🤩 Anthony Lombardo is a total boss, co-owner of SheWolf Pastificio & Bar, and now he's taking it to the next level with this Sicilian-inspired menu! 🍝🐟 I'm low-key obsessed with the idea of learning more about Sicily through food - like, who doesn't love pasta and seafood?! 🤤 The renovations by Patrick Thompson Design are gonna be, like, totally on point! 🔥 I need to get my hands on those capers and olives ASAP! 💁‍♀️ Late Dec/Jan can't come soon enough, I'm dyin' over here for that opening day 🎉
