Shimmer review โ€“ National Youth Orchestra welcome the new year in bracing, stylish style

omg yessssss i'm so hyped about the National Youth Orchestra ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ”ฅ their conductor alexandre bloch is a genius and those young musicians are literally gods on stage ๐Ÿ˜ i mean the sound was kinda restrained but only cuz they're still figuring it out and every performance got better than the last ๐Ÿ’ช ravel's rapsodie espagnole tho ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽถ was LIFE.CHANGING!!! ๐Ÿคฉ

๐Ÿค” I'm not sure if we're ready for a 90-piece orchestra in the UK yet. The energy felt great but maybe some venues were just too big? ๐Ÿ“š Also, can't they just stream the concerts instead of making us watch on YouTube for hours? And what's up with all these 'premiere' performances? It feels like every single concert is a world premiere now... ๐Ÿ˜ด

Omg I'm so hyped for this National Youth Orchestra ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ‘! The fact that they're already performing Debussy and Ravel at such a young age is insane ๐Ÿคฏ! And I love how the music swirled with all these different emotions - it was like watching a beautiful storm โ›ˆ๏ธ. The conductor, Alexandre Bloch, seems super talented too ๐Ÿ’ช. What I'd love to see next is more experimental stuff - maybe some edgy indie or electronic influences ๐Ÿ”„?

omg u guys i just got back from the national youth orchestra concert and i'm still reeling from the energy ๐Ÿคฉ they totally brought the house down with debussy's ibรฉria, even if it did feel a bit tight at times the way alexandre bloch conducted was so smooth & i loved how they incorporated ravel's rapsodie espagnole - it was like fireworks in the audience! and inbal segev's cello concerto performance? wow, she totally owns that stage ๐ŸŽธ

I'm loving the energy of this young orchestra ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฅ! The way they navigated the complexities of Debussy's Ibรฉria was impressive, even if some nuances got lost in translation ๐Ÿ˜Š. But hey, a bit of restraint can actually be a good thing - it allowed them to focus on the bigger picture. And when they let loose with Ravel and Al-Zand, man... the music just came alive ๐ŸŒŸ! The chemistry between the musicians was palpable, especially in Anna Clyne's DANCE - Inbal Segev absolutely brought that cello concerto to life ๐ŸŽป. Can't wait to see what these talented teens do next ๐Ÿคž
