I just binge-watched this new show "Small Prophets" on BBC Two and OMG it's like the creator Mackenzie Crook has bottled up all the whimsy and magic of his Detectorists days! The lead actor Pearce Quigley is so relatable as Michael, he's like us all stumbling through life trying to find our way. And Lauren Patel stealing every scene as Kacey is pure gold ! I love how the show explores the little things that make life worth living, even when it feels dull and grey around you. The cast is perfection, from Jon Pointing's hilarious Clive to Michael Palin as Clea's dad - what a legendary actor ! Trust me, this one's not to be missed
