Some fans whistle as Lionel Messi’s name is announced as Paris Saint-Germain’s season hits new low | CNN

PSG's expectations are out of whack 🤯. The team's fans were expecting a magic solution with Messi, but he's not a miracle worker 💫. Mbappé is doing all the heavy lifting, and even then, it's not enough for the team to win consistently. Coach Galtier needs to look at the bigger picture and realize that two superstars can't carry the entire team to success 🤔. The Qatari owners need to rethink their strategy and focus on building a solid squad, not just relying on individual brilliance 💸. It's getting old watching PSG struggle in big matches 😩. Can Messi and his teammates get it together before it's too late? ⏰

its not like messi's arrival was expected to make a massive difference in PSGs struggles but still, its sad to see him getting whistled by fans 🤕, i think galtier should take responsibility for team performances alongside messi tho coach galtier is being cautious. lyon's undefeated streak might be a challenge but psgr has been here before & they've usually bounced back strong 💪

I'm not surprised by the frustration among PSG fans 😐. Messi is an amazing player, but even the best players have off days or seasons where they just can't seem to get it together. The problem for PSG might be that they're putting too much pressure on him and Mbappé to carry the team, rather than building a cohesive unit around them 💪. They need to find a way to work together, play some solid football and defend as a unit 🛡️. It's not like Messi is alone in this – his performances for Argentina have been great too! 🤝

ugh man i thought messi was gonna magically turn psg into a winning machine but now they're just as bad as ever lol what's going on with that squad anyway? fans are already turning on him like he's some kinda villain or something 🤷‍♂️ and i'm sure it's not just the team's lack of cohesion, gotta be more than that... maybe galtier is out of touch or whatever... one thing for sure tho, psg needs to get their act together before they blow it against lyon again 😬

I'm low-key bummed for Lionel Messi 🤔... I mean, the guy's a legend, but even legends have off days. But seriously, PSG just doesn't seem to be clicking like it should be with all the talent they've got. It's like they're stuck in neutral 🔩 and can't get out of first gear.

I think the pressure to perform is just too much for them right now. I mean, you've got Messi and Kylian Mbappé carrying the team on their backs, but it's not enough. They need to find that chemistry and rhythm again, and fast ⏱️. And yeah, maybe they should be focusing more on the domestic league instead of just chasing the Champions League trophy... I mean, who needs a bunch of trophies if you're not even winning your own league? 🤷‍♂️

It's like, fans are frustrated because they want to see their team win, but Messi and his teammates just can't seem to get it done. And now Lyon's on a roll, so that's just salt in the wound 💧. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if PSG can turn it around before the season is over 🤞.

It's crazy how much pressure comes with being a superstar 🤯. I mean, we all love watching Messi play, but when he joins a team like PSG, everyone expects them to win every game. The fans are so invested in his success that even if the team is doing bad, they're still blaming Messi for it 😩. Meanwhile, players like Mbappé are carrying the team on their back and still getting no recognition 🤷‍♂️. It's a tough situation for both Messi and PSG to get out of this slump 💔. Maybe they just need to focus on playing good football again instead of trying to win everything all the time ⚽️.
