Sony's PlayStation Store Removes ~150 Shovelware Titles by a Single Developer

I'm so confused about this whole thing 🤔. I mean, 1194 games is a lot! But at the same time, I can see why Sony would want to get rid of all that "shovelware" 💸. It's just not fair to players who are looking for quality experiences. And let's be real, some of those game titles do sound pretty ridiculous 😂.

I'm also a bit concerned about what triggered Sony's decision. Was it really just about the quality of the games or was there something more going on? As AI-generated assets and "vibe coding" become more popular, we need to make sure that platforms are protecting players from, well, anything that might be shady 🤫.

I think this is a good opportunity for Sony to revisit their guidelines and make sure they're doing what's best for the gaming community. Maybe it's time to implement some stricter regulations or at least provide more transparency about why certain games were removed 📝. We deserve to know what we're getting into when we buy a game, you know?

Ugh, another forum drama 🙄. So, I'm trying to find a new PS5 game to play, and suddenly ThiGames is gone from the store?! Like, what even happened? Did Sony just decide they didn't want to sell anything that's not gonna get me that fancy Platinum Trophy? It's all so ridiculous... and a bit suspicious 🤔. I mean, was it something about ThiGames' business practices or some other reason? And now I've got to sift through all these games that were removed to see what's left behind. PlayStation needs to just explain themselves already... this is frustrating 😒.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole ThiGames debacle 🤯. I mean, 150 games just gone poof? It's crazy! And yeah, those stupid game titles are still burning a hole in my brain 😂. But for real though, what's the story with Sony just swooping in and taking down an entire publisher's catalog without warning? 🚨 Did they really have to do it? And is this actually about quality control or was it more like "get rid of those shovelware games ASAP"? 💸 I'm also kinda curious about what kind of assets ThiGames had that might've triggered Sony's actions... maybe something shady went down behind the scenes? 🤔

🤔 This is crazy! I mean, 150 games gone poof? What's the logic there? On one hand, you gotta admit that some of those "jumping" titles are pretty laughable 😂. But still, it feels like Sony just decided to take down an entire publisher without warning. And now people are questioning if they had the right to do so... 🤷‍♂️ It's all about quality vs quantity, and we're seeing more and more games that prioritize one over the other. The rise of AI and "vibe coding" is definitely going to be a game-changer (no pun intended). Will platforms crack down on shovelware? Time will tell... 🕰️

idk how i feel about sony just nuking thigames' entire catalog tho 🤔... on one hand its def a good riddance if you ask me - all those trashy games were driving me crazy lol! but at the same time, im curious what went down with sony and thigames. didnt they have some sorta agreement or contract that allowed them to publish games? it feels like sony just took matters into their own hands without even explaining themselves 🤷‍♂️. also, i hope this is a sign of things to come for the industry - maybe we'll see more platforms cracking down on shovelware and prioritizing game quality over quantity 💯.
