just saw this deal and gotta say... who cares about the newest model when you can get the last year's flagship at half the price? 
The WH-1000XM5 still sounds amazing to me, I mean, 95% review score is not a joke, right? 
and that bass is so good it'll make you wanna rock out... even when no one's around

I'm not saying it's not worth considering, but for most people on a budget, there are definitely better options out there 
... i mean, yeah it's a good deal and all, but $248 is still kinda steep for earbuds that are 2 gen behind the latest models 
. don't get me wrong, the wh-1000xm5 is still an awesome pair of cans, but can we really say they're industry-leading anymore? i need to see some more reviews and comparison charts before i decide to splurge

The price drop is insane! I paid like $400 for them when they were first released, and now I can get them for $248? That's a crazy discount, dude 
. I've been using them nonstop since I got them, and the sound quality still blows me away. I mean, yeah, there are newer models out, but you're not gonna find a deal like this anywhere else. My only complaint is that they do get a bit hot after like 4-5 hours of use, but other than that, they're perfect for gaming or just chillin' out while watching Netflix 
. I mean, sure, it's a discount, but $248 is still almost as much as the newer XM6s. And let's be real, they're not even the flagship model anymore 
But seriously, if you're due for a new pair and want some top-notch noise-cancelling goodness, $248 is an absolute steal! Just don't expect me to upgrade from my trusty old iPhone earbuds anytime soon
