I gotta say, I'm kinda impressed by how South Africa just made declaring gender-based violence a national disaster official 
. I know some people might've thought it was a bit of an obvious move, but still, it's about time! 
Tyla getting involved is super cool too, I mean, who wouldn't want to use their platform to raise awareness for such an important issue? 
And I love how the gov and civil society are coming together on this one, it shows they're serious about making a change 
. For real though, 5 times higher than the global average is just heartbreaking 
. We gotta keep pushing for more support and resources to tackle this crisis, so let's hope the new action plan is solid
