I'm low-key worried about this Bithumb mess

. $42 billion is a crazy amount of money, and I can imagine how stressful it must be for them to deal with this mistake. It's easy to make mistakes when you're dealing with huge sums, but the fact that they didn't have proper controls in place makes me think there might be some deeper issues

.
I'm also kinda concerned about the customers who sold their bitcoin and made a quick buck

. I get it, everyone wants to take advantage of a good opportunity, but it's not right when others have to foot the bill for your mistakes

. The fact that Bithumb is trying to engage with these customers one-on-one and avoid lawsuits says a lot about their commitment to making things right

.
It'll be interesting to see how this whole thing plays out, especially in Korea where they're still figuring out how to regulate crypto

. I just hope Bithumb comes out of this with their reputation intact
