omg this is gonna be so lit i'm literally so hyped about spotify introducing this new feature!! i've been waiting for like forever for them to add more social stuff, and now we get to see what our friends are listening to in real-time? it's gonna make our conversations SO much more interesting!!! plus the new "Jam" feature is perfect for those spontaneous music nights with friends can't wait for premium users to be able to start their own jams too!! fingers crossed for a group chat feature soon
I think it's kinda interesting how this update highlights our desire to connect with others over our shared interests... I mean, music is a universal language, right? But at the same time, it makes me wonder if we're sacrificing some level of intimacy in our online conversations by sharing our listening activity with just anyone. Like, do we really want everyone to know what we're listening to, or is that just a way for us to show off our 'tastes'?
And then there's this 'Jam' feature... it feels like we're trying to recreate the experience of being in a room with others who share similar passions.
