‘Stealing Isn’t Innovation’: Cyndi Lauper, Questlove & More Artists Sign on to AI Licensing Campaign

come on guys who trained their a.i models with our music without permission? that's straight up theft lol... i mean think about it if you were a photographer and someone was using your pics to train a machine learning model without even asking u or giving credit, u'd be FURIOUS 🤬. same thing applies here. creators need to be protected & compensated for their work. let's get some of these tech companies to take responsibility for what they're doing 💸

This is getting crazy 🤯! I mean, AI-generated content is like, a thing now, right? And it's literally stealing people's work and training on it without paying them 🤑. It's not even fair use or transformative or whatever the lawyers say 🤔. Just 'cause you can make music with a computer doesn't mean you get to take other people's stuff for free 🎶.

I'm glad some big-name artists are standing up against this though 👏. Cyndi Lauper and Questlove are like, total legends 🙌. And Jason Isbell is all about telling the truth and standing up for what's right 💪. I don't know how much more of this we can take before someone gets screwed over by some big AI company 🤑.

It's not just the artists who are affected though – it's everyone who creates music, from DJs to producers to songwriters 🎵. If they can just train on someone else's work without paying them, then what's the point of even creating new music? It's all just gonna get copied and nobody gets paid 💸.

I hope these big labels and publishers keep pushing back against this too 👊. We need some real change here 🔄.
