I'm not surprised about this at all... another show sucking up all our time and attention . I mean, who needs reality when you can binge-watch a fictional town's apocalypse for 90 minutes straight? It's like they're trying to brainwash us or something . And don't even get me started on the creators' obsession with violence... just what we need more of . On the bright side, I guess it's a testament to how invested we are in these characters and their fictional lives . Can't say I'm looking forward to the finale though... predictably, it'll probably be overhyped and won't live up to our expectations .
idk man... i'm like super stoked for stranger things 5 but also kinda worried about netflix's server crash lol i mean, 30% bandwidth increase is no joke! they should've prepared better for this kind of thing. on the other hand, i love how they dropped all 8 episodes at once - it's like a total gaming experience, you know? binge-watching an entire season in one go is literally my favorite but at the same time... have we gotten too comfortable with just mindlessly scrolling through our feeds? it's like, we're missing out on so much more than just some nostalgic sci-fi fun.
I'm loving how Netflix is throwing money at this show now! 59.6 million views in 5 days? That's insane! They must've known it was gonna blow up since they went all-in with the binge-watching strategy. And to be honest, I kinda hate waiting for those last three episodes... December 31st feels like FOREVER Can't wait to see what all the fuss is about though!
