'Super agers' have genetic advantages against Alzheimer's disease

🤩 I'm so stoked about this study on super agers! It's crazy to think that there are people out there living their best lives at 80+ and still going strong 🙌. The fact that these genetic traits can be identified is just amazing 💡. And the idea that APOE-ε2 might hold the key to preventing Alzheimer's is like, totally game-changing 🎮. Of course, lifestyle plays a huge role in this too, but it's awesome to see scientists digging deeper into what makes super agers tick 🔍. Can't wait to see where this research takes us! 💪

💡 I'm low-key obsessed with this study on super agers! 🤯 Who wouldn't want to know the secrets behind staying sharp and healthy well into their 80s? 😂 The fact that they have like, a 68% lower incidence rate of Alzheimer's just blows my mind! 💥 And can we talk about how cool it is that this APOE-ε2 gene thingy actually offers protection against Alzheimer's? 🎉 I'm all for exploring new ways to prevent and even treat this disease. Let's get on the APOE-ε2 bandwagon, people! 🚀

🤔 I'm not surprised by this study, reminds me of my grandma who lived till 92 and was still playing bingo with us every week 😂. She had no Alzheimer's and we often wondered how she managed it all those years. Anyway, genetics play a huge role in Super Aging, but let's be real, the lifestyle part is what really sets them apart - regular exercise, not smoking, eating like nonna 👵... you know? My cousin's sister (my aunt) took care of her mom with Alzheimer's and it was heartbreaking 😔. So while this study is exciting, we gotta remember that there's more to Super Aging than just genetics 🤝

omg u gotta believe this study on super agers is LIFE CHANGING!!! 🤯 i've been saying it 4eva that genetics play a huge role in aging & alzheimers, n ow we got def some proof 💡 like wot r u even gonna do wit this info?! 🙌 1st off, no APOE-ε4 means less chance of alzheimers... genius! 🤓 but wut's crazy is that super agers got way more APOE-ε2, which we thought was all about protection 💪 & now it sounds like it might b the real deal 🤯 lesley gaynor from Vanderbilt u medical center says its def proof & i'm over here like "YAAAS, LEAGUE!" 🎉 also gotta acknowledge lifestyle stuff matters 4 sure, but genetics is key too 🌟 can't wait 2 c wut comes next in therpy & research...

🤔 I'm glad we're getting closer to understanding what makes super agers tick. This is a major breakthrough, but let's not forget that lifestyle factors like exercise and social connections are still key. It's not just about genetics, it's about how we live our lives too. 🏋️‍♀️💬

I don’t usually comment but... it’s wild to think that genetics can be so crucial in determining our resistance to Alzheimer's. I mean, we all know about lifestyle factors like exercise and socializing being important for brain health, but this study is like a whole new layer of understanding. The idea that certain genes can shield us from the disease at such an old age is just mind-blowing 🤯. It makes me wonder if there are other genetic markers or factors at play too...
