Super League: Challenge Cup could move from traditional Wembley home after club-led strategic review recommendations

I think it's a good idea for the Rugby Football League to consider alternative venues for the Challenge Cup final 🤔! I mean, 65,000 is still a pretty decent crowd, but I guess you can never have too many options right? Plus, exploring new options could bring in some fresh energy to the competition. That "Community Shield" style fixture between the Grand Final and Challenge Cup winners sounds like a great idea too! It's all about finding ways to make the sport more exciting and engaging for fans 🎉. And who knows, maybe this is an opportunity for them to think outside the box and come up with something even better than what they've got now 💡.

🤔 The Challenge Cup final is struggling at Wembley 🏟️... maybe it's time for a change of scenery? 65k is a decent crowd, but it's not like they're emptying the place 😴. I think having a new venue would definitely bring in some fresh energy 💥 and attract more fans who might've gotten bored with the usual Wembley experience 👎. The idea of hosting the round of 16 at a neutral venue is also pretty cool 🤩... it'd be great to see more matches played on different grounds. But, of course, everything has to be financially sustainable 🤑 and not hurt anyone's wallet 💸. Can't have too much growth without hurting some clubs 🤝

I dont get why they're not just playin at Wembley, it's always been a sick atmosphere there 🤔. I mean, 65k is still pretty decent if u ask me. I remember when the Challenge Cup was at Old Trafford and it was always full, but then again that was like, ages ago 😂. I think they should just stick with Wembley, or maybe just throw in some extra seats or somethin' to keep the crowd up. Those new changes sound a bit weird, like introducin a 'Community Shield'... who's gonna care about that? 🤷‍♂️ At least at the Super League they're talkin about expandin it from 14 to 16 teams, that sounds like somethin I could get on board with 👍.

omg did u no that rugby fans r getting pretty frustrated with wembley crowd avg been like 65k since 2017? i mean i get it wembley's iconic but its not fair to the smaller clubs who cant compete with those massive crowds lol

i dont really understand why they wanna change venues tho maybe its just bc wembley's getting old or smthn but what if they find a better spot that still holds like 50k+ ppl? thats def worth exploring

ugh i love the idea of a community shield match between grand final & challenge cup winners tho thats so cool! it would be amazing to see more smaller clubs get a chance to shine in a big game

btw has anyone else noticed how super league is growing? they're thinking of adding 2 more teams soon? that's gonna be interesting to watch
