SwitchBot Smart Video Doorbell Review: A Smart Home Camera for Almost Nobody

Ugh, I'm so over this thing! 🙄 The camera quality is literally the worst - 640x360 pixels?! That's like, ancient tech lol 😂 And don't even get me started on the software issues... slow loading times and delayed recordings? Are you kidding me?! 🙄 And what's with all those annoying reminders about cloud storage in the app? It's just so cluttered and frustrating to use.

But, I gotta give it to them for trying, right? 😊 They did pack a lot of features into this thing. But for most people, there are way better options out there that don't compromise on video quality and reliability. I mean, Eufy and Reolink are killing the game with their smart doorbells right now... 💥

If you're non-tech-savvy or just need a basic digital peephole, I guess this thing might work for you. But for anyone looking for a solid smart doorbell camera experience? Nope. Just no. 😐
 
idk why ppl r payin $149.99 4 a doorbell that cant even detect motion properly 🤔🚪. and dont even get me started on the camera quality - who needs 640x360 pixels when u can have 1080p like every other decent smart doorbell out there? 📸💥 i mean, if u just wanna use it as a digital peephole, i guess its cool, but for actual security purposes? forget about it. and thats why im stickin w/ my old arlo 😎
 
omg u guys i just got my hands on the new SwitchBot smart vid doorbell and let me tell u it's been a rollercoaster 🚨💥 first of all the pic quality is straight trash 640x360 pixels? come on! but i guess if u don't mind the vids being kinda blurry, it's decent for just checking who's at the door. software issues tho are a whole nother story - loading the live feed takes forever and recordings get delayed lol what's up with that?! 😂 and don't even get me started on the cloud storage reminders 🤦‍♀️ u need to disable those ASAP. all in all, it's decent but not worth the $$ for a reliable vid doorbell. anyone else have one of these? 🤔
 
I don't think I'd recommend dropping $150 on this thing just yet... 😒 The camera quality is pretty meh and it's got some serious software issues 🤖. It's like they were trying to fit too many features in and forgot about the basics. I mean, if you're looking for a smart doorbell with good video quality and motion detection, there are way better options out there... like Eufy or Reolink. They might not be as flashy, but at least they deliver 📺. This one's just a solid "meh" to me 🤔.
