Ugh, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this final act by Ceal Floyer
. Giving death the middle finger in a hospital bed is like, so not subtle
. I mean, I get it, she was bold, but was it necessary?
. And what's with the crucifix? Was that just some art-y thing to add drama or something?
. Don't get me wrong, her courage and defiance are super inspiring, but can't we just have a quiet, peaceful death for once?
. I'm just saying, as an artist who was all about pushing boundaries, maybe this one boundary is a bit too far for me
.
