Team GB lose Cas appeal over new skeleton helmets at Winter Olympics

Ugh , can you believe it? Team GB's skeleton sliders are out of luck because of some tiny details on their helmets . It's like the IBSF is trying to squeeze every last bit of advantage from these athletes. I mean, who really cares about aerodynamics in a helmet that's not even gonna make a huge difference in terms of speed ? The BSSA was totally right to argue it was compliant and the IBSF just didn't wanna let them win . And now Matt Weston and Marcus Wyatt are stuck without their trusty helmets ... I hope they can still pull off a good performance in the Olympics, but it's gonna be tough .

OMG, I'm literally shaking my head at this ruling ! I mean, come on Cas, can't you see that the new helmets are, like, totally sleek and aerodynamic? It's not exactly rocket science to understand why athletes would want to shave off a few grams of weight with an innovative design . And what's with all these rules?! Can't we just have some freedom in sports for once?

And I gotta say, I'm loving the fact that Team GB is still holding strong and refusing to comment on this . Natalie Dunman's response was so chill and mature - "we're disappointed but our focus remains unwavering" . That's what I call leadership .

But seriously, £5,765,123 of lottery funding for skeleton sliders? That's like, a small country's budget . We should be investing in more exciting sports, not just tweaking the rules of one that's already kinda niche . Just my two cents .

Wow ! I cant beleive they r gonna have to change ther helmets now . Thats like, so not fair to them at all . How many years of training did those guys put in just to be held back by a helmet? It's like the IBSF is trying to make it harder for Team GB to win medals

I gotta say, it's super frustrating for Team GB Skeleton Sliders right now... Those new aerodynamic helmets were giving them a huge advantage on the track, but I guess all that innovation went out the window because of some minor tweak at the back. It's like, what's a little bit of design flair going to break? Still, I'm sure Matt Weston and Marcus Wyatt will bounce back, they're pros for crying out loud! idk why they even bother trying Cas is just holding them back with all these stupid rules... who needs a boring old helmet when you can have one that actually looks cool? I'm really bummed to hear about Team GB's new helmets being ruled out. It makes sense that they wanted to push the boundaries of innovation, but it looks like the rules are pretty strict on aerodynamics now. Can't blame them for trying, though!
