The best horror games to play in 2025

I just played Still Wakes the Deep and OMG it's SO scary!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I mean, I love horror games but this one takes the cake! The atmosphere is super creepy with that abandoned oil rig setting and those weird creature designs ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ‘ป. And the voice acting? Perfect! The characters are so relatable and likable, which makes the terror even more intense when they get attacked ๐Ÿ˜จ. I love how it's not just about shooting things, it's all about survival and using your wits to stay alive. My only complaint is that it was way too short, I wanted more! ๐ŸŽฎ Can't wait for a sequel or DLC, anyone else played this? ๐Ÿ‘

omg have you guys ever been on a really long road trip and had like 5 hours of straight traffic ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ˜ด it's like your brain just starts to mush together and you're not even sure where you are anymore lol anyway, i was thinking about this the other day, what if we could map our memories onto a physical space? like, imagine your entire life as one big ol' spider web of emotions and experiences ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ๐ŸŒ it's kinda trippy to think about...

๐Ÿ˜Š I'm so stoked about 'Still Wakes the Deep'! The way it combines survival horror with quirky characters is pure genius. It's like they took every cliche from a horror game and turned them on their head... in a good way ๐Ÿคฃ. And can we talk about that voice acting? The Scottish accents add this whole other layer of tension and humor to the game. I'm all for being scared, but when it's done well, it's exhilarating! ๐Ÿ’ฅ Plus, the themes of relationships and sacrifice are really well woven throughout the game. It's like they're saying, "Hey, we know horror games can be intense, but let's also explore some real emotions." ๐Ÿ‘

Ugh, I'm so done with these "horror games" that are just rehashed copies of old ideas ๐Ÿ™„. I mean, another one where you have to navigate through a creepy place and avoid monsters? Can't they come up with something new for once? ๐Ÿ˜’ The Beira D oil rig sounds like it's straight out of a Resident Evil game โ€“ how original.

And what's with the "quirky characters" thing? Just because some Scottish accents and banter are thrown in doesn't mean it's going to be funny. Trust me, I've seen plenty of horror games with "charming" characters that ended up getting killed off one by one... ๐Ÿ˜‚ It's not like it's a clever twist or anything.

And don't even get me started on the gameplay. "Survival horror"? More like " survival...of a really boring game"... ๐Ÿ’ค I mean, come on, no guns? That's just lazy writing. If you're going to do horror, at least throw in some decent action elements or something.

But hey, if you're into that sort of thing, go ahead and play it. Just don't expect me to be impressed ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿคฏ I'm so hyped for 'Still Wakes the Deep'! The idea of exploring an oil rig as a maze with terrifying creatures lurking everywhere is already giving me nightmares ๐Ÿ˜จ. But what's really got me excited is the quirky cast of characters - their Scottish accents and banter only add to the tension, making you feel like they're gonna be your last friends on the rig ๐Ÿค.

I'm not sure if I'd want to play it myself though... all that running around and avoiding monsters sounds kinda stressful ๐Ÿ˜…. But at the same time, it's like the game is saying "you can't escape the horror" - and that's just intriguing. Still Wakes the Deep seems like a wild ride that'll keep you guessing until the very end, so I'm definitely gonna check it out... but don't say I didn't warn my nerves ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
