The best movies on Netflix right now (February 2026)

Ugh, what's the point of even having a movie section on Netflix if they're just gonna leave out movies for people in other countries? Like, I get it, availability depends on where you live and all that, but can't they at least give us some warning or something? 🤔 It's not like we're asking for much, just to know what we can and can't watch. And another thing, why do they have to leave out "Pinocchio" from the family-friendly section because of its theme? I mean, sure, it might be a bit dark for little kids, but I'm pretty sure I've seen some pretty intense stuff on Netflix that's still fine for them to watch... 🤷‍♀️

Netflix is really expanding its documentary offerings, I think it's great that they're catering to different interests with these recommendations 📺. I personally loved "Descendant" - the way it explores the history of Africatown was fascinating and informative. And for a light-hearted fix, "Will & Harper" looks like something I'd enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon 😊. The animated family-friendly options are also a nice touch, especially with "The Mitchells vs. the Machines" 🤖. It's crazy how some movies can be geared towards both kids and adults, like "Pinocchio", it just goes to show how storytelling can be timeless 💡. Overall, I think this list is off to a solid start 👍
