, but at the same time, I'm like... yeah, it's pretty meh when you think about it
. It's just a number, right? And let's be real, most of those companies listed on the index are basically international players
. So, does it really mean much for the UK economy as a whole?
I'm not convinced.
And don't even get me started on the marketing hype surrounding this milestone
. I mean, come on, baseball caps and over-the-top ads? It's like, chill out, guys
. Instead of doing that, they should be using it as an opportunity to educate people about investing in shares and all that jazz
