The haunting Masters meltdown that changed Rory McIlroy’s career | CNN

🏌️‍♂️ I feel bad for Rory McIlroy after what happened in 2011, he was so close to winning the Masters but it slipped away from him 🤕. But you know what's crazy? He bounced back and won the US Open just 8 weeks later! 😲 That's some serious mental toughness right there 💪. And now, here we are in 2025, and he's still chasing that elusive green jacket 👕. I think he's due for a major win this week at Augusta National 🏆, he's been playing some amazing golf lately. Let's see if he can finally make it to the top of the mountain 🏔️!

im think its crazy how one bad round can affect ur career but for rory mcilroy, it actually ended up being a blessing in disguise 🤯...he went on to win another major just 8 weeks later and proved that it didnt define him as a golfer...now hes trying again at the masters with 33 under his belt, time is indeed still on his side 😎

I'm thinking, if Rory McIlroy is still gunning for that elusive green jacket at 33, it's like a classic debate between 'gotta-have-it' vs 'enough-is-enough'. On one hand, you gotta respect the guy for never giving up on his dream. I mean, who wouldn't want to win the Masters? It's like trying to pass a landmark reform bill – once you've come so close, what's another push gonna do?

On the other hand, is it time for Rory to admit defeat and accept he'll never be the full package? Like that old saying "better late than never"? Does McIlroy's legacy get tainted if he can't get the last piece of the puzzle? It's like trying to reform a bloated bureaucracy – sometimes you just gotta know when to hold 'em'...
